The Roberts Research Group offers valuable research opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students. Working with an interdisciplinary team of experts in the areas of genetic counseling, health behavior, health education, and bioethics (among others), qualified students can be given the opportunity genomics.
Through Summer Internship and Research Assistant positions, students are involved with the various ongoing research projects further developing skills in areas such as the following:
Research interviewing
Development of health education materials
Critical review of relevant literatures
Recruitment and outreach
Data management and analysis
Manuscript and grant preparation
Summer Internships are available and prioritized for U-M SPH students between their first and second years. Internships are an excellent learning experience and we encourage students to take advantage of these great opportunities.
