Chelsea Cox, MPH, MSW
Doctoral Student
Chelsea Cox is a current doctoral student at the University of Michigan with research interests in Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias (ADRD). More specifically, her work focuses on public knowledge, attitudes, and risk perceptions of ADRD; physician screening and referral practices related to ADRD; disclosure of ADRD risk information; implications of early detection of ADRD; and recruitment to ADRD research.
Currently, Chelsea is working toward her PhD at the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education. Chelsea earned her Master’s degrees from the University of Southern California in Public Health and Social Work in 2015. Prior to this, she attended the University of Michigan, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication studies in 2009.
